Ph D Cliff KellyDr. Cliff Kelly has served as Professor of Communication at several leading universities, both Christian and secular. His tenure as teacher and scholar includes a brief time as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the International Fellowship f Christians and Jews. Dr. Kelly also served as Senior Editor and Analyst for The Truth Project, Focus on the Family's Christian Worldview Outreach program. Formerly the founding Director of Academics for Focus on the Family Institute, Cliff has also served on the faculty of Regent University, where he was founding Director of the Public Affairs Journalism graduate program; University of the Pacific; The Cleveland State University; and Liberty University. He received his bachelors and master's degrees from California State University at Long Beach, and his doctorate degree in communication theory and research from Bowling Green State University. He has lectured, written and published most recently in the areas of political eschatology, communication theory, education, business communication, public policy, public affairs journalism, political communication, intercultural and nonverbal communication, comparative worldview studies, organizational communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal and small group behavior. Dr. Kelly has been married to his wife, Suzette, since 1981, and they have two grown children, Christina and Christopher, both honors graduates of University of Colorado, Denver, and Sarah Lawrence College, respectively. Their household is filled with furry critters of various breeds, sizes and shapes, including Scout the Wonder Dog on the back cover.
