Eleni Filippaki

Eleni Filippaki is a Researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, N.C.S.R. ‘Demokritos’. Her research interests span the following areas: studies on ancient metals with an emphasis on technology, provenance and corrosion conservation of archaeological metallic objects using plasma chemistry methods; studies of archaeological residues; palaeoenviromental studies; sea level oscillation and sea level interaction for landscape reconstruction. She has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and participated in several European and national research projects.
