Bob TatzHaving swallowed the anchor, a nautical term for abandoning a career on ocean ships, Bob Tatz eventually settled in the province of Alberta in Canada. With credentials of a professional marine engineer it wasn't long before Bob established a reputatin as a versatile engineering consultant. He remains a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology (UK). His varied experience in the marine engineering field stood him in good stead and was instrumental for his advancement in his new career. By meeting Canadian and U.S. standards, Bob enhanced his ability to provide a valued service to his clients. With encouragement from loyal industry connections, Bob eventually established his own business, which grew as his client base increased. Bob is well travelled nationally as well as internationally, both in business and in retirement, and he easily enjoys the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life. In writing these memoirs Bob made a great effort to recall some of the most interesting experiences in his early life before immigrating to Canada. With established roots in Canada, Bob is grateful for his successes and wishes to thank all those who made it possible. For relaxation Bob enjoys art sketching, and looks forward to resuming creating with oil paint again after a long absence. Read More Read Less
