Herbert Friedmann schreibt seit 20 Jahren erfolgreich Kinder- und Jugendliteratur - Bucher wie "Spinnt Herr Mucknuck," in dem ein Rentner eine Spinne zum Haustier hat. "Das Erwachsenwerden herauszogern" ist Friedmanns Motivation und so fangen seine Gedichte, denen eine genaue Beobachtungsgabe zugrunde liegt, das Bunte, Sinnliche, die Traume und Verwunderung ein. Die einfache Betrachtung ist dem Dichter genauso wichtig wie die dialektische Erfahrung. Aus banalen Alltagsbetrachtungen destilliert Friedmann das Wunderbare, so wird das Zusammentreffen "im Speisewagen" mit einen "Herrn im burgunderroten Anzug" unversehens zu einem uberraschenden Landschaftstraum. Zwischen Stillstand und Bewegung, Beschaulichkeit und Beschleunigung findet Herbert Friedmann zu seiner eigenen Geschwindigkeit. In seinem Gedicht "Chat-Poem" verlangt er nach mehr Atempausen, sieht wie die 68er-Traume in einem "Riss im Weg" verschwinden und wei, dass der ICE keine Landschaft braucht, weil er nicht zum Reisen, sondern nur zum Ankommen gedacht ist. Um der "du-musst-die-Dinge-realistisch-sehen-Wuste" zu entkommen, katapultiert sich Friedmann in seine eigene Umlaufbahn, so heit es in "Fliehkraft" "Luft ohne Schloss und Riegel / in den wortlosen Nachten / Bewegungsmelder uberlisten / irgendwohin unterwegs sein / in eine neue Sprache / die Leben moglich macht." Mit "Wo fahren Sie hin, Herr Kirschenzeit" hat Herbert Friedmann seinen ersten Gedichtband vorgelegt.

About the Author :
Herbert Friedmann, geboren 1951 in Gro-Gerau, Lehre als Einzelhandelskaufmann. Seit 1977 ist er freiberuflicher Schriftsteller. Er ist Mitglied der Europaischen Autorenvereinigung DIE KOGGE. 1983 erhielt er u.a. den Hans-im-Gluck-Preis, auerdem zahlreiche Stipendien, u.a. 1986 das Stipendium der Drehbuchwerkstatt im Literarischen Colloquium Berlin. Er war 1993 Otterndorfer Stadtschreiber. Von ihm sind zahlreiche Kinder- und Jugendbucher erschienen u.a.: "Kalle Durchblick," Weltkreis 1980; "Mensch, Mucke," Signal Verlag 1984; "Paula Bohnenstange," rotfuchs, 1989; "Link to love," Schneider Verlag (Peppermind) 2001; "Kampf um den Ritterschatz," Arena Verlag 2001. Herbert Friedmann lebt in Brensbach-Wersau.
