LUDIN u.a. 2002, 89). Solche oder ahnliche Aussagen lesen wir ofters in diverser Literatur, um den Leser das Gefuhl zu geben, etwas verandern zu konnen. Sicherlich ist jeder Schritt eines Unternehmens, etwas zur Mitarbeitermotivation beitragen zu wollen, ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung, trotzdem sollten die grundlegenden Theorien der Motivation zu Rate gezogen werden, um die menschlichen Grundbedurfnisse zu verstehen und ein nachhaltig positives Ergebnis zu erreichen. Der Mitarbeiter, der immer gut gelaunt am Arbeitsplatz erscheint und jeden Stress positiv empfindet, schliesst die Tur nach Dienstschluss und freut sich auf den nachsten Arbeitstag. 'Zu schon um wahr zu sein, denn die Realitat sieht meistens anders aus.' Das Zauberwort heisst Motivation und sie burgt fur zufriedene Mitarbeiter, welche vielleicht nicht mehr arbeiten, aber dafur ihre Aufgaben hingebungsvoller erledigen. Man kann die Motivation nicht erzwingen, trotzdem existieren zahlreiche Moglichkeiten, diese nachhaltig zu erhohen. In dieser Hausarbeit sollen die Ursachen und die Hintergrunde der Arbeitsmotivation untersucht werden. Dazu werden zuerst in Kapitel 2 die Begriffe Motiv, Motivation und Arbeitsmotivation voneinander abgegrenzt. In Kapitel 3 werden die drei bekanntesten Motivationstheorien in aller Kurze vorgestellt. Kapitel 4 beschreibt ein Praxisbeispiel aus meinem Arbeitsumfeld, wobei auch eine Analyse nach den beschriebenen Motivationstheorien durchgefuhrt wird. Danach wird versucht, durch geeignete Massnahmen die Motivation der beschriebenen Person zu erhohen. Das Folgekapitel befasst sich mit allgemeinen Moglichkeiten der Motivation. Im letzten Kapitel werden die gefundenen Losungen zusammengefasst und die Ergebnisse abschliessend erlaut
