Das Buch versammelt die Beiträge österreichischer SprachwissenschaftlerInnen und SprachlehrerInnen, die im eLearning-Bereich forschend und lehrend tätig sind. Es schließt an die Ergebnisse des von den HerausgeberInnen im Rahmen der Österreichischen Linguistiktagung 2005 in Graz initiierten verbal-Workshops «eLearning in der fremdsprachenbezogenen Lehre» an und lädt zu einer umfassenden und prinzipiengeleiteten Auseinandersetzung mit einem Themenbereich ein, der in den letzten Jahren eine enorme Expansion erlebt hat und auch in Zukunft an Bedeutung noch zunehmen wird.
