About the Author :
Janet Wiszowaty lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is a 40-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police where she worked as an emergency police dispatcher. After being treated for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, she was told she no longer needed to work with her psychologist, and she was at a loss as to what to do. After the PTSD diagnosis, she transitioned her career and put her experience to work in new ways as a Visionary Coach, International Speaker, and Jack Canfield Success Principals Certified Trainer. Janet's mission is to empower her clients to have a vision and to balance adversity and emotional upheaval, and lead fulfilling lives. She calls it her "Now What" stage. If you are at that stage of "now what", "where do I go from here" stage, Janet is the right person for you to work with to move forward and create a vision for your future.

Review :
Praise for The Year the World Paused: Stories of Inspiration and Transformation ***** "This culmination of stories is emotional and thoughtful while giving hope and excitement for our future. These amazing authors have put into riveting words their experiences during 2020, so valuable and heartfelt." -- C. Gagliardi ***** "What a beautiful perspective and powerful tool for those who are feeling the stress, anxiety, and pressure that comes with change." -- D. Riendeau ***** "We are all human and wildly alike yet so completely different. I could see/feel myself weaving between each of these stories as I read them. These people made me feel "normal" during all the pivoting, loss, grief, confinement, and uncertainties Covid presented to us all." -- T. Powers ***** "The Year the World Pause is a fabulous, informative, deeply moving, heartfelt, yet inspiring book of resilience and perseverance. Although the world as we knew it changed with the Great Pandemic of 2020, this amazing book shows that with the right mindset, it is possible to thrive and see opportunity at any age. -- B. South ***** "This book is a must-read! The stories of these amazing women will touch you to the core. I cried, and I smiled, and I felt my spirit lifted. So much of what they share happened to me or someone I know. How each one of them "handled" life circumstances really is inspirational. COVID may have stopped the world for a while, but it did not stop humanity from growing stronger and better. I thank each one of you for sharing your story with me." -- B. Powers
