About the Book

The journey to one's higher self is often filled with times of love, loss, laughter, lament, longing, anguish, pleasure, triumph and joy. It is an ongoing work that is ever-evolving with the continual rebirth of the soul. Veronique MacRae's premiere poetic work, In a Field Full of Lavender Trees, shares her journey so far through the art of poetry, prose, and short narration. From unrequited love and unexpected adventures to moments of being unalive and finding herself again, this collection expresses what it is like for the spirit to have a human experience.
