About the Book

Herbs have been used for medicine, magic and ritual for thousands of years. The ancient arts of Herbal Alchemy and Herbal Magick combine an understanding of the healing and energising effects of herbs (roots, leaves, flowers, resins and essential oils) with an understanding of the cycles of the natural world - the astrological movement of the stars and planets and the cycles of the earth's seasons. Herbalist and magick practitioner, Karen Harrison, offers herbal formulae anyone can use to feel better, increase prosperity, attract love and actualise spiritual goals. Each chapter on Planetary/Herbal energies offers effective rituals, meditations and workings which highlight the use of magickal herbs designed to improve your life in such areas as health and success to meditation and dreamwork. This book Features: * A compendium of herbs and their energy associations * Instructions on how to create herbal infusions and use them in rituals * Select herbs based on their astrological associations as well as their medicinal properties * A multitude of recipes for incense, ceremonial oils, bath salts, herbal amulets, fluid condensers and herbal philtres.
