An excellent introductory reading for teachers who need to familiarize themselves with basic crisis prevention and intervention ... Realistic in its language and perspective. This book will serve to better prepare teachers for the instant when they need to react during a crisis situation. To prepare teachers in methods of crisis prevention and management, Damiani discusses natural disasters, death, suicide, hostile and aggressive students, and parental problems, as well as how to address them.
