About the Author :
Patrick McGilligan is the author of the Edgar-nominated Alfred Hitchcock, the New York Times Notable Books Fritz Lang and George Cukor, and books on the lives of film directors Nicholas Ray, Robert Altman, and Oscar Micheaux, as well as actors James Cagney, Jack Nicholson, and Clint Eastwood. He also edited the acclaimed five-volume Backstory series of interviews with Hollywood screenwriters and, with coauthor Paul Buhle, the definitive Tender Comrades. Keith Szarabajka has appeared in many films, including The Dark Knight, Missing, and A Perfect World, and on such television shows as The Equalizer, Angel, Cold Case, Golden Years, and Profit. Szarabajka has also appeared in several episodes of Selected Shorts for National Public Radio. He won the 2001 Audie Award for Unabridged Fiction for his reading of Tom Robbins's Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates and has won several Earphones Awards.
