About the Book

The WizeWell Process is the print version of the WizeWell 2.0 Level 1 training program. This book contains the written content of the WizeWell App 2.0, plus a detailed introduction to the program. WizeWell's core 30-day at-work curriculum develops focused engagement, in-the-zone performance, and organizational resilience. Initially structured to meet Microsoft's innovation/engagement needs, this long-term daily process actively reduces stress and fatigue at work and refocuses attention toward a brighter mood, sharp mindset, and more healthy and enjoyable physical presence. One of the basic laws of human survival is that we manifest what we habitually focus our power of attention on. Therefore, learning to focus our attention consciously and wisely is perhaps the most important act we can make each day. Based equally on neuroscience research and short-form mindfulness practice, the WizeWell program helps executives and employees focus regularly in specific inner directions that enhance wise decisions and compassionate leadership. Users learn thirty carefully-formulated Focus Phrases based on universal human values and shared goals. By inserting these Focus Phrases into their daily schedule, everyone on a team can purposefully aim their power of attention in directions that stimulate more clarity, confidence, creativity, and wellness - no matter what the job assignment. Mindfulness at work has become a strong focus in many companies - but traditional programs for teaching meditation in the workplace have struggled to integrate long-form meditation with the pressured demands at work. WizeWell has resolved this difficulty by creating short Breather Breaks guided by the WizeWell App 2.0. This provides a non-intrusive way to shift attention directly to the core elements of applied mindfulness - breath focus, mental silence, whole-brain creativity, and wise decision-making. In sum, the WizeWell Process offers a long-term at-work program for making sure everyone on the team is functioning at optimum levels, and feeling fulfilled in their work.
