Manuela Lollenbeck is a sculptor specializing in the human form. She lives in California with her husband and their four children. Her works are exhibited in art galleries in the USA but also in Canada and in the UK. As part of her art practice she often makes body castings, mostly baby's hands and feet but also pregnant bellies and many female busts and torsos. In 2010 she has been commissioned to make a series of female genital castings to serve as reference for a larger project. She made molds and castings of perhaps 60 different vaginas in various positions using different materials. As a result of this project Manuela has become a leading authority on this very unusual area of expertise.
