El cereal mes utilitzat per a l'elaboracio del pa es la farina de blat, pero tambe s'utilitza el segol, l'ordi, el blat de moro i l'arros. Existeixen molts tipus de pa que poden contenir d'altres ingredients, com ara greixos de diferents tipus (cansalada, mantega, oli d'oliva), ous, sucre, especies, fruites, fruits secs (com per exemple panses), verdures (com cebes), o llavors diverses. Cereals (civada, ordi, i blat) i alguns pans fets amb ells De vegades algunes llavors, com el sesam acompanyen les decoracions exteriors dels pansL'addicio del llevat provoca la fermentacio alcoholica de la massa abans de l'enfornat i, com a consequencia, li proporciona volum i esponjositat causades per la produccio de petites bombolles de dioxid de carboni que es queden immergides entre la massa humida de la farina. Al pa elaborat sense l'us de llevat se l'anomena azim i per aixo, manca de l'esponjositat tipica dels pans "inflats" o "llevats." Es molt possible que les elaboracions mes primitives de pa no portessin llevat i la farina consistis en grans toscament molts i mesclats amb aigua, que es deixaven eixugar al sol o que acabaven entre les cendres d'un foc. Els pans plans, molt populars en algunes cultures, es probable que siguin els prototipus mes antics. Una variant del pa amb denominacio propia son les galetes i els pastissos que tenen diferents masses ensucrades; probablement, sorgiren com una necessitat de fer pans "mes portables" i nutritius. A la massa se li pot donar diferents formes a causa de l'us de diversos motlles i tecniques d'amassamen...

    A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

    Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
