Review :
Fel un syn gyfrifol am farchnata a delwedd gyhoeddus Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin yn fy ngwaith bob dydd, pan glywes i am y nofel ysgafn, Iesu Tirion, oedd yn sn am hynt a helynt arweinyddes cylch meithrin, roedd gen i amheuon mawr ar yr effaith a gi hyn ar ddelwedd y Mudiad. Ond ar l darllen y paragraff cyntaf yn unig, roeddwn yn chwerthin yn fy nyblau ac wedi fy argyhoeddi nad oedd angen i mi boeni o gwbl. Canolbwynt Iesu Tirion yw cylch meithrin pentre bach Cymreig yng nghefn gwlad Cymru. Mae gweithgareddaur cylch yn gorfodi rhieni o bob cefndir i ddod at ei gilydd cymeriadau na fyddai byth yn dewis cymysgu i gilydd oni bai am gylch meithrin Nantclagwydd. Maer rhieni yman gymeriadau credadwy iawn a bydd y darllenydd yn sicr yn adnabod rhywun tebyg yn eu cymdeithas nhw. Mae tensiwn dyddiol rhwng Melangell Wyn Parry Ll.B., y gyfreithwraig barchus, sidt, (wel, dynar ddelwedd mae hi ei hun yn ceisioi gyfleu beth bynnag, ond dawr darllenydd i wybod mai rhywbeth digon slac ei moes, slac ei choes yw hi mewn gwirionedd!) syn fam i Lowfi Mefefid, a Susan, y ddarlithwraig prifysgol, syn ceisio argyhoeddi pawb o glyfrwch neilltuol ei merch, Brengain Cadwaladr, gan nad ywr ddwy wedi maddau iw gilydd ers i Brengain alw Lowfin bitsh ar lwyfan y Neuadd Goffa adeg Dramar Geni y llynedd. Mared, arweinyddes y cylch meithrin, ywr prif gymeriad, ac ar ben ei helyntion yn y cylch, maen rhiant sengl i fachgen yn ei arddegau ac yn dod o hyd i ddyn newydd yn sw Bae Colwyn o bobman, ond mae dod r mab ar dyn newydd i dderbyn ei gilydd yn dipyn o sialens. Mae Mared yn haeddu medal am ei dyfalbarhad yn rhedeg cylch meithrin Nantclagwydd yn festri Bethania, gan geisio cadwr plant, y rhieni a blaenoriaid y capel yn hapus. Portreadir y plantos yn annwyl a doniol iawn ac maen amlwg fod yr awdur yn deall byd plant yr oed yma. Dwin hoff iawn or ffordd y maer gn 'Iesu Tirion' wedii sgwennu ar y clawr, a diolch i Lleucu Roberts, dymar fersiwn maer plant yn ty nin mynnu ei ganu o hyn allan hefyd: Iesu tirion, gwely nawr, Blentyn bach yn bolgi mawr: Wrth fy ngwenda, tyd r ha. Paid m gwnffon, Iesu da. Amen. Ct. Dwi ddim mor siwr pa mor gredadwy yw datblygiad cymeriad Doreen, na pha mor gredadwy ywr creisus personol maen ei brofi yng nghanol y nofel, ond mae ei chymeriad dim-ffrils fel chwa o awyr iach yn y cylch ynghyd i thafod ffraeth, a miniog ar adegau, syn rhoi taw ar sawl dadl a gyfyd rhwng yr arweinyddes ar rhieni. Yn bersonol, dydw i ddim yn hoffir ffordd maen galw Lowri Mererid yn Lowfi Mefefid drwyr nofel gan fod hyn yn tueddu i ddilorni pobl sydd nam ar eu lleferydd (er, dwin cyfaddef iddo wneud i mi chwerthin). Byddain well gen i pe bair hyn y mae Lowrin ei ddweud wedi ei sgwennu yn y dull ynan unig, yn hytrach nai galw hi yn Lowfi drwyf amsef! Ond, yng nghanol yr hiwmor, y rhegi, y dadlau, y parti Ann Summers, ar 'affairs', mae yma werthfawrogiad or holl waith caled syn mynd ymlaen i gynnal cylchoedd meithrin ledled Cymru. Bydd darllenwyr o bob cefndir, yn enwedig rhieni i blant ifanc, yn gallu uniaethu 'r cymeriadau a mwynhaur nofel yma a phwy a wyr, efallai y gwelwch chi rywun tebyg iawn i chich hun yma, ond i chi edrych yn ofalus. Iola Jns Gellir defnyddio'r adolygiad hwn at bwrpas hybu, ond gofynnir i chi gynnwys y gydnabyddiaeth ganlynol: Adolygiad oddi ar www.gwales.com, trwy ganiatd Cyngor Llyfrau Cymru.
