About the Author :
Elena originally is from old aristocratic Russian/Greek family, has going, enthusiastic, open & cheerful personality. She graduated from a prestigious Leningrad State University as the philologist-linguist, and holds Master Degree (Slavonic Philologist, Linguist, and Journalist). She was teaching literature in Russian schools, and has more than 40 years of job experience in different areas of art education, literature, music, dance Theater, cinematography. She worked in cinematography, sound assistant of the movie productions, Radio journalist, and newspaper correspondent. She owned her own businesses, traveled the world. Elena studied different character-folk dance elements and movements, including Mexican, African, Russian Folk Dances, ballet, music (accordion), and acting skills Elena was a Celebrity Star of Russia in 70-80th in cinematography & theater. While living in CA, her main hobby is writing, traveling, teaching, performing, dancing, and supporting charity. For several years she published her articles about tango and people in USA Dance Magazine, as a contributing editor. Hobbies: Ayurveda, Yoga, Thy-chi, Meditation, Aerobics, Zumba, Healing Energy. Elena teaches Authentic Russian Gypsy dance. After fifteen years of teaching Argentine Tango, Elena designed original tango courses to improve marriages. She is using ancient Auroveda wisdom while teaching tango, reminding that Visualization is the Key to Mastering The Law of Attraction, where everyone's wish comes true. Tanguera Elena a producer/ choreographer was fundamentally and deeply trained by the best Masters of the world, finished Tango Choreography and Master classes, passed a special professional test, and obtained a Professional Tango Teacher Diploma. From 2004 she is the Founder, President, Art. Director of the Tango Caminito Dance School. Elena produced many great events and tango Productions. People called Elena "Twinkles Feet & Queen of Tango" . She was called "Tango Icon of San Diego" while teaching and performing throughout USA, Mexico, on the cruise ships around the world.
