About the Author :
Steve Davey is the author of the first book in this series, Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die. A writer and photographer, Steve has turned his day job into a way of life. He graduated with a photographic degree in 1988 and has travelled compulsively ever since, photographing amazing places, cultures and festivals. Steve markets his work through La Belle Aurore, the agency he co-founded in 1992, and his words and pictures have appeared in many publications around the world. Marc Schlossman was born in Chicago and has been based in London since 1988. From a beginning in editorial photography and photojournalism, his work has evolved into a variety of personal and commissioned projects using a combination of documentary, landscape and photojournalism techniques to tell stories with photographs. Marc was the co-photographer for Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die.

Review :
'This beautifully illustrated book [Unforgettable Journeys] includes journeys that will satisfy the adventurer in all of us. Tracking mountain gorillas in Rwanda? No problem. Shackleton's voyage to Antarctica? Piece of cake. There are practical details if you want to tackle any of the trips. For the less intrepid there are journeys closer to home - walking with Wordsworth in England and a horse-drawn wagon trip around Ireland.' 'Inspiring, well-written and well put together.' [Unforgettable Journeys] 'This book [Unforgettable Things] does exactly what it says on the tin: it is packed with gorgeous images of places that you really, really want to visit - and makes you slightly hate the authors for having been able to do all these things ... And since more of us are eschewing beach holidays and choosing trips with a life-changing experience built in, it can almost be seen as a tick-list for the get-up-and-go crowd.' 'With 40 recommendations, the great photos and inspirational text of this book crystallise exactly what we all love about travel.'
