About the Book

The Third Advent proposes and describes a new category of perception which balances, heals and connects us to the primordial power of life itself. Our world is in turmoil - undoubtedly a reflection of the complex imbalances that afflict every level of global society - and many fear that mankind is doomed to failure. Yet, in The Third Advent, the author contends that we are on the threshold of a complete transformation, that individually we can change the core of our being and hence the world itself. With remarkable candor, Grégoire de Kalbermatten recounts his own event-filled path to enlightenment, a path which ended at the feet of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

About the Author :
Grégoire de Kalbermatten was born in Lausanne, Switzerland. He studied law in Geneva and completed postgraduate studies in international relations and political science at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, Italy and Baltimore USA. He then joined the Foreign Service of his country and pursued a career in international organizations. He was active for more than thirty years in the fields of multi-lateral diplomacy, economic development and environmental protection and he directed, co-authored and published books and studies in related fields. He organized numerous intergovernmental events, including ministerial conferences and scientific symposiums. Having led more than three hundred missions in over seventy countries, he maintained a keen interest in world cultures and global affairs. His research in political philosophy and spirituality was profoundly influenced by his encounter with Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in August 1975. In this context he published two books in the field of spiritual biography - The Advent and The Third Advent - and two novels in philofiction - The Legend of Dagad Trikon and The Breaking of the Seventh Seal.
