Review :
'There are ... in these admirable volumes useful conference reports and book reviews, as well as indexes, History of Universities has well and truly come of age, and the time is ripe for libraries in the history of science to snap up as many of the back-issues as they need to complete their holdings.' J.D. North, Archives Internationales D'Histoire Des Sciences, Anno. 1992, Vol. 42, No. 123
